Carrie Ann and James exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, the bride’s family church.

After the ceremony, the couple were transported in a beautiful, cherry red classic car to Waldorf Astoria Orlando for their cocktail hour and wedding reception. The couple wanted an elegant venue for their wedding reception. The Grand Ballroom provided the perfect setting for this couple’s enchanted evening.

Empire State of Mind – Ivi and Candace’s Waldorf Wedding

The concrete jungle may have been where Ivi and Candace’s wedding dreams were made, but they chose Waldorf Astoria Orlando to help bring their dreams to life!

Ivi and Candace, who met and currently live in New York City, knew they wanted to have their destination wedding in Orlando, but they also wanted to capture the essence of NYC in their theme. Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue for the couple. Candace affectionately said Waldorf Astoria Orlando screams “Manhattan!”

With the help of Greenery Productions, Shanna Michele Designs and Pure Magic Ice Cream, the couple’s big city dreams were brought to life in a whole new way. Setting the tone of the wedding, Greenery Productions created a life-size backdrop of Sheep’s Meadow, the couple’s favorite area in Central Park. This beautiful backdrop evoked a romantic feeling for the reception, as if guests were attending a private, intimate reception, right in the middle of Central Park. These fun, New York-themed touches also included taxi-cab escort cards, menus created to mirror the famed NYC skyline, and nitrogen ice cream. The special New York touches were everywhere, including the music provided by DJ Scott Messina. The wedding party made a grand entrance into the reception as Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” was playing in the background.

Frank & Danielle’s Waldorf Astoria Wedding

Frank and Danielle were recently married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, in a gorgeous outdoor wedding on the resort’s signature island.

The New York couple, who are long time Disney fans, wanted an upscale, Disney-themed wedding. Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue for this magical affair. The resort’s luxurious amenities, proximity to Walt Disney World Resort, and its partnership with Disney Event Group, helped make the couple’s dreams come true!

Family and friends from throughout the Northeast traveled to Orlando for Frank and Danielle’s destination wedding. When Two Become One! Rob & Katie’s Wedding

Lighting at a wedding reception is a very important detail that often sets the mood. Kaleidoscope Event Lighting did just that at Katie and Rob’s Waldorf Astoria Orlando wedding reception! The bold, yet soft, royal blue and purple lighting landscape they created set the scene for this enchanted evening!

It’s a Date!

Thousands of brides and grooms across the country will be heading to the altar on 11/11/11.

Is this wedding date full of luck or a bad omen? The number one symbolizes a new beginning and some say that eleven adds double strength to that meaning. We are not sure if the date is lucky or not, but according to David’s Bridal, approximately 57,000 couples think the date is lucky and have chosen to get married on 11/11/11!…Wow, love will definitely be in the air!

Hotels and wedding venues have had this special date, which only comes around one time in a hundred years, booked up for months. This popular date has truly been one of the most sought after dates in 2011. It doesn’t hurt that the date falls on Veteran’s Day Weekend, so for some this was the perfect time for a three-day wedding weekend.

Naketrice and Danny at Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Naketrice Booker, an Event Manager at Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, will be marrying Danny Snow, Director of Marketing at Snow & Associates, Inc.

Like most couples, Naketrice and Danny had been discussing marriage for a short time before the proposal. They even discussed what dates they liked and 11/11/11 was their favorite! On November 10, 2010, with the assistance of their kitten Oreo, Danny asked Naketrice to marry him and they set 11/11/11 as their date! Naketrice knew instantly that she had her perfect guy, the perfect date and she knew Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue.

We are excited for Naketrice and Danny and we can’t wait to help them celebrate their big day – one that will truly only come around once in a lifetime!

Danny and Anna Serviansky were recently married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

Danny and Anna reside in New York City, where they both practice law.  The couple wanted an intimate, family-oriented wedding, so  they chose Anna’s hometown of Orlando for their destination wedding. The couple felt Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue for their classic wedding with a contemporary feel.

Waldorf Couple Featured In Orlando Wedding Magazine

Brie and Mike Sasche were married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando in a gorgeous outdoor fall ceremony on the Waldorf Astoria Signature Island. The couple’s  wedding was recently featured in the “Our Big Day” section of the fall/winter issue of  Orlando Wedding magazine.

An excerpt from the article:

Brie, 30, is well-known in Orlando’s power circles as Mayor Buddy Dyer’s former chief of staff. The mayor and his wife, attorney Karen Dyer, hosted a cocktail reception for wedding guests the night before the ceremony at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

“The main focus of our wedding was the ceremony,” says Brie. “We wanted our friends and family to hear about our ‘love story’ and how we met, why we fell in love. It was the best day of our lives.”
