Carrie Ann and James exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, the bride’s family church.

After the ceremony, the couple were transported in a beautiful, cherry red classic car to Waldorf Astoria Orlando for their cocktail hour and wedding reception. The couple wanted an elegant venue for their wedding reception. The Grand Ballroom provided the perfect setting for this couple’s enchanted evening.

A Wedding Story: Melissa and Sean

It’s not a secret that photography plays a very important role in a couple’s wedding day. Some couples are choosing to take their wedding photography a step further than the traditional portrait. These couples want their photography to tell a story.

Melissa and Sean, who were recently married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, wanted to highlight their fun-loving personalities and the glamour of the special day in their wedding story. The couple hired Abby Liga from Liga Photography to capture their story, including the couple’s private moments as they prepared for their special day.

From the bride’s elegant, runway ready gown by Reem Acra, to the dainty, cherry-red mini can of Sofia Blanc de Blancs (the bride’s favorite wine), to those special candid moments shared between the couple and their family, Abby Liga did an excellent  job of capturing the couple’s personality, as she told their wedding story through photography.

Frank & Danielle’s Waldorf Astoria Wedding

Frank and Danielle were recently married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, in a gorgeous outdoor wedding on the resort’s signature island.

The New York couple, who are long time Disney fans, wanted an upscale, Disney-themed wedding. Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue for this magical affair. The resort’s luxurious amenities, proximity to Walt Disney World Resort, and its partnership with Disney Event Group, helped make the couple’s dreams come true!

Family and friends from throughout the Northeast traveled to Orlando for Frank and Danielle’s destination wedding. In addition to the ceremony and reception held at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, the couple had an exciting itinerary planned for their guests, including a relaxing day in private cabanas at the Waldorf pool, a spa experience at the Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain and a welcome reception at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

It’s a Date!

Thousands of brides and grooms across the country will be heading to the altar on 11/11/11.

Is this wedding date full of luck or a bad omen? The number one symbolizes a new beginning and some say that eleven adds double strength to that meaning. We are not sure if the date is lucky or not, but according to David’s Bridal, approximately 57,000 couples think the date is lucky and have chosen to get married on 11/11/11!…Wow, love will definitely be in the air!

Hotels and wedding venues have had this special date, which only comes around one time in a hundred years, booked up for months. This popular date has truly been one of the most sought after dates in 2011. It doesn’t hurt that the date falls on Veteran’s Day Weekend, so for some this was the perfect time for a three-day wedding weekend.

Naketrice and Danny at Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Naketrice Booker, an Event Manager at Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, will be marrying Danny Snow, Director of Marketing at Snow & Associates, Inc.

Like most couples, Naketrice and Danny had been discussing marriage for a short time before the proposal. They even discussed what dates they liked and 11/11/11 was their favorite! On November 10, 2010, with the assistance of their kitten Oreo, Danny asked Naketrice to marry him and they set 11/11/11 as their date! Naketrice knew instantly that she had her perfect guy, the perfect date and she knew Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue.

We are excited for Naketrice and Danny and we can’t wait to help them celebrate their big day – one that will truly only come around once in a lifetime!

Danny and Anna Serviansky were recently married at Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

Danny and Anna reside in New York City, where they both practice law.  The couple wanted an intimate, family-oriented wedding, so  they chose Anna’s hometown of Orlando for their destination wedding. The couple felt Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the perfect venue for their classic wedding with a contemporary feel.
