Love For Lace and Attention To Detail Create Breathtaking October Waldorf Astoria Orlando Wedding For Anita and Jonathan

Anita Ulloa bought her wedding dress more than a year before her Oct 26 date to marry Jonathan Aguirre.  She knew exactly what she wanted.  The end result was an exquisite lace Vera Wang wedding gown and veil, a lace cover up she designed and made herself, and Valentino shoes.  “I love how Vera Wang uses classical lace in a very modern way,” Anita said.

She also knew what she was looking for in a wedding venue for her wedding to be perfect.  “I wanted that same attention to detail that I had in my dress,” she explained.  “The Waldorf Astoria did it all and made everything stress free.  Jane was beyond wonderful and was very special with us.”

Anita, a designer who specializes in bridal accessories, carried the lace theme of her wedding dress through to her wedding cake with a very intricate design and pattern. “It was the cake of my dreams!” she exclaimed.  “And the hotel’s island area for weddings is out of this world, with a very new and stylish feel.  It was very emotional and meaningful for us to be married there surrounded by such a beautiful landscape.”  She also said Orlando was the perfect location to bring in family and friends in from so many different locations so they would have things to do in the area after the wedding.

All of the wonderful wedding details were orchestrated by many talented people, including Vanessa Oppo from Karmagoddess as event planner, Rachael Kasie Designs for floral, invitations by Bella Figura, hair and makeup by Luma Bridal, ceremony and cocktail hour music by Sergio Duarte and reception music by the Voces Libres Latin Band.  Wedding photos were by Maloman Photographers and Videography by Voila Cinematic.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Aguirre met in Gainesville, Fla. six years ago and carried on a long distance relationship between Gainesville and Anita’s native Peru.  They reunited after realizing they were inseparable.  Jonathan proposed to Anita on Valentine’s Day in her favorite place, The Empire State Building in New York City.  They now reside in Gainesville.
