Jacqueline Viel and Doug Holubek will never forget May 12 when they married in what Jacqueline calls “the prettiest venue we could find.” She recalls that unforgettable moment when she walked down the aisle of the Waldorf Astoria Orlando Signature Island with her Dad, and then joined her bridal party in stunning purple dresses, beside her.
For the dinner inside the Waldorf Grand Ballroom, the couple chose platinum linens and chair covers with bits of bling in the napkin rings and candle shades, with the cake table and head table covered in a fun platinum petal linen. Weddings Unique served as wedding planner with Lee James, providing floral and décor. The elegant wedding cake, provided by Waldorf Astoria Orlando, complemented the color scheme, wrapped in silver platinum satin ribbon, topped with white roses and sprinkled with edible glitter.
Guests danced to the sounds of Hook’d and ended the evening with a shower of rose petals for the newlyweds. Doug grew up in Orlando, Jacqueline in Sioux Falls, SD. They met here and honeymooned on the spectacular Caribbean Island of St. Lucia.
